2 Expert Hunters Disagree About Everything

I was listening to a good podcast.  They interview Dan Infalt and John Eberhardt separately and then edit the responses together.  It's really interesting.  Two guys that have put down a ton of mature bucks on pressured public land.  They do it totally different.  They disagree on so many points.  I guess the takeaway is there are many ways to kill deer.

Agree. It varies by part of the country, pressure, etc. What you find in hunting is people repeating things they heard over and over throughout the years. If enough people mimic the words, must be gospel right? Wrong.  You can study deer but no one really knows what goes on in their heads.

A large part is up to the deer, and they probably have help with finding the hot spots on public lands with minimal pressure and a good amount of deer. Many different technics will give the same results.
