Hot Fishing

Hot weather that is. Fishing sucked!!! 

Tried RB today with my uncle. Had no drift and weather was hot by 8am. Junped all around from 15' to 50' of water. Finally found some current to move us and it was too much. Only brought the small gear for shallower fishing.  

We got one  keeper fluke 25"  5.25 lbs my uncle caught. We also caught one bluefish each. Mine was 13 lbs caught on 6 lb braid  (not my ice fishing rod)

I fished wAy in the back a few hours.   Only caught shorts and not too many.

I'm just getting tired of the dirty water in the RB. I think that is the big problem there.

It's been like that for years always had a brown stain on the side of my boat.

I only had a 16' bowrider so the days that I could get outside were few and far between.

Water was a lot cleaner last year when I fished up there. This year seams like most days can't see 10 inches down.

This year has totally sucked clarity wise. My usual best weeks inside have been plagued with bloody rootbeer water
