Drilling hot asphalt and concrete.

Here in the city of Montclair. Been drilling asphalt and concrete and trenching soil to treat termites. Got a few more hours to go. I have an active duty Marine helping me. So, it doesn't suck as much. He said that it reminds him of boot camp. LOL!

I grew up working Summers for my grandfather's asphalt business. I used to thrive in this heat just keep that garden hose handy ! Now I don't want to leave the house LOL

Several years back a guy core drilling concrete on a family members property got his azz kicked so bad by the drill he had to go to the Cooper trauma unit in the back of ambulance.

Wouldn't want to be you today.  I laid asphalt one summer.  Besides the heat from the sun, the stuff was hot and fumes were bad.  That, and roofing have to be the worst summer jobs.

I opened the shoot 100's a time to fill my wheelbarrow and roll over 3/4 stone!!!!...Asphalt temp was 300 degree,

After every job you burn diesel oil to clean the rakes,Tamps barrows and shovels.

No regrets!
