Costco has my back!

Saw this in Union yesterday. I haven't gotten a deer recently. I have a friend who will gladly barter venison for scotch so I usually have some every year. But the wife  wouldn't know a lamb for a deer and I wouldn't have to explain the costs of deer hunting to the cost of License Stew! We used to smoke a whole pig years ago but for some reason stopped, probably the kids came along. We did a whole yearling doe once that was collateral buckshot kill. It was really good. Now if I could put it in the freezer unnoticed til Deer Season.

Leg of lamb is fantastic!

Sometimes I slap a tied boneless leg of lamb or two into the smoker for about 5-6 hours when having a BBQ.

I have never had to deal with leftovers!
