Trout fishing is still hot !

With the wind blowing yesterday we canceled our saltwater trip and decided to hit the Musky for some trout. My buddy and I  took a little hike away from the road and it was lights out fishing from the first cast, catching around 50 NJ wigglers between us and then stopped at the South Branch on the way home for another dozen. I did not see another fisherman on either river so get out there and have some fun

Nice. You didn't miss much in the salt. The morning was fine but the wind picked up strong later morning,, bad.

I skipped the salt and hit the Musky ans SB too.  Caught a bunch and a few smallmouth.

I am sure there are I lot of trout  left in the main rivers with all the rain . But I sure they have moved around.

My daughter wants to go kayaking today,we are bringing the fishing poles along so we can fish some way off the road places
