My Favorite Invasives

I know I'm gonna catch flak for this but when it comes to deer habitat / sanctuary, it's hard to  beat a multiflora thicket that's choked out with Japanese honeysuckle.  Both plants provide quality food and cover for deer, bunnies, and birds.

Multiflora rose is gone in many of the areas I have hunted in hunterdon county ..

was told a disease will have it 100%  gone within a few years

can't argue with that, especially when a healthy Red Cedar population is near.  

The invasive s I hate are the Autumn Olive, and a few different varieties of lethal vine I have noticed taking over everything in the summer.   Chokes out everything impossible to keep up with it.
