stupid fawn

Friend of mine sent these - found this little guy in his backyard needing a little help. Mama came out and ran away with him when he got freed.

Fences kill many deer every year. Freed a few over the years . If not discovered in time, a slow death.

Yup I found a beauty dead in a rolled up farmers fence when I hunted Wisconsin.  It was a sad sight to say the least.

Good on your friend. That fawn is so tiny he deserved a shot to live and he's lucky your friend found him
