I hunt a 170 acre farm in Clinton Township and this farm from my estimate has about 20 does per one buck on it and I keep telling the farmer that I have to shoot more does but, the deer do not bother him at all. He always wants me to shoot him two to three does a year and I can shoot two bucks eight points or better and a few does. Doesn't put a dent in the population at all.

Unfortunately it will only be open to residents this year....it was part of the compromise.  Moving forward I would love to open it up.
