Winner! I always love it when I can get my hands on some Osage. I dries quick, burns hotter than anything else, coals well and pops and spits in the woodstove putting on quite a show!

I wish I had some on my property but I don't. Lots of maple and oak. I grabbed a load of cherry and oak to split for the wood burner at my hunting camp that someone dumped

Hard to find a straight piece unless you split a stave from the trunk.  Always wanted to make a bow out of osage.
