I highly recommend these cabins on the shore of Moosehead lake Maine. It is a beautiful area. Too cold to swim in June.

I'd look into Lake Champlain or Lake George. Haven't been to either in a while but while up there never wanted to leave and even thought of moving.

I have been taking the family to Lake George every July for the past 7 years. We stay in a cabin at Waters Edge Marina in Bolton’s Landing. It’s walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Sagamore if your looking for something fancy. It’s a 2 minute boat ride to the trench where you can troll for Lakers. Smallmouth and large mouth fishing is excellent. Water may be a little cool for swimming in June but it’s a perfectly located spot on the lake.

Looks like there are a lot of great looking places to go and sounds like a great wife if she likes to fish and go to a cabin. Good luck

I stayed at a place on Fairview lake in pa last week.   Fishing was good even in the rain and you get a boat with the cabin.

Yeah luckily her father is a hunter/fisherman so she grew up with it. I lucked out for sure.
