Steelhead success

Went on our annual steelhead trip and ran into some tough conditions. Still managed to land one. They are one tough fish.

Nice way to go

That is some major flow 3,000 is big water and I saw it went to 5,000 even the diversions are unfishable.

Yes, it was still coming up on our last anchor. A lot of tree debris and litter was breaking loose from the shoreline. forced us off the river actually.

Those are tough fishing conditions for sure!  Nice catch.

Very nice catch! Something I have never done. Friends are begging to take me, one of these years I will head up there and try....Amazing how the hook is out as soon as the tension is off when it was landed in the boat!
