Mystery solved ....

So.....took the boy to the Spring Lake contest and we had a blast!  

But, for years I always wondered how the fishin would be the following day.....early in the mornin....

So....after being up at 3:30 AM checkin on the 10 kids that slept over for my 13 yr olds birthday sleepover....i made the command decision to get back to Spring Lake early n fill a quick limit of giant trout before Declans b-day pancake breakfast!!!

Although I saw a few "humpbacks" surfacing n smaller ones swirling....

not a nibble....threw everything including minnows. Didn't see any other guys catch any either. 

Fishin for trout in lakes is weird!
