Bushnell Impulse (Verizon)

My free Impuls finally showed up so i threw it out to test it. Setup is ridiculously easy and the 30days free is a plus. Theres no screen on it like the aggressor had. The latches are metal and snap tight. Theres an adjuster wheel to level it out like the old big moultries. It is sensitive! Like way sensitive. I have it set to low because auto and medium were blowing up my phone. Image quality is excellent compared to the aggressor and you can zoom in on the pics unlike aggressor. I dont know durability or battery life yet and Im still not set on canceling my Coverts but so far its good. The night pic is with flash on medium and on the aggressor if it wasnt on high youd get a black pic.

Hopefully better than the old shit they made (non cell). I know a good amount of guy that have had trouble with Bushnell cameras. But they were good at customer service on fixing or replacing them.

What is the cost of cell service?. I have two coverts, 3G and LTE.
One thing I don't like about covert it does not work when installed high, looking down. Mid day it will take 50 pictures in an hour of nothing. Covert is not only motion but also temperature triggered. At high positions it picks up thermals.

Is there an antenna on that thing?

I currently have 49 bushnell cameras .

trophy cam models from 2007 to 2018 models .

have taken hundreds of thousands of reliable pics trouble free .

have issues occasionally with 3 of the oldest ones, where they constantly trigger , a change of batteries stops that .

IMO  most problems guys have with them is switching a card that has other formatting on it .

 

i have used just about every other brand of camera , and have found none more reliable than the bushnell trophy cams .

Good to see a positive review of this cam. I’ve been eyeing them up for a while waiting for them to be released. I’d like to get a few for next season.

No external antenna on it. Cost is 9.99mo for about 1500 images. If you send yourself vids it uses more data so youll get less pics. Start stop whenever no contract 100% through bushnell

I was excited to buy 1 of these last year when they were supposed to be released. Then when earlier this year bushnell released a bunch of junk ones that had sensor issues and would empty a data plan in a day i was not as excited. But now this one didnt cost me anything and after only 2 days its ok. I have it set to a 1min delay and have it looking over an open field. I will see how many pics it takes and how long batts last and report back.

First issue. 201pm today cam went down. Bushnell says software issues and they are attempting to fix it. 618pm now and still down.

Price isn't everything but Covert is little cheaper with more pictures. I am now at $24.99/3 months with 10,000 pics. That's $8.33/ months, 3,333 Pics. For additional $5 you add another camera.
