Damn Cell Phone !!!

I have a Samsung Note 9,this morning while watching a field filled with deer, a hen and a gobbler I went to text a friend of mine.....The screen was blank, the phone was on, and it started saying things I never heard before....Like "The screen is off", "The phone is Locked", "This feature is for the blind", and some other crap. Came home I searched the internet for trouble shooting, I tried it all.....It maybe need to be replaced....I have the insurance from Best Buys, I will head over there when they open, maybe the Geeks know something I don't.....Anyone with a Samsung phone have this happen to them?

Do you use bone view card reader ?

one of the programs that’s attached to the file reader they used did weird stuff like that to my Samsung.

phone would do voice adds in the middle of the night .

deleted their reader and been issue free since

That sucks Hammer. I have had no issues with mine but have an IPhone

I’m going to try using it with a different file program .

the one they recommended had a file manager ( so could scroll) and another editor program . It was the other part that had all the weird add pop ups .

couldnt delete just the one part , was both or nothing .

made me jump out of bed more than once , volume would be crazy loud like someone had turned on the tv full blast .

the phone wasn't fix able, to replace it it would cost $200....I owned $140 so I paid it off and got a Galaxy S10

My wife said the same thing to me

Since Best Buy couldn't download my apps, and contacts cause the screen was blank.....I went over to the Verizon Wireless store in Clinton, I got lucky place was dead, at first they said the same thing as Best Buys, and maybe Samsung would be able to help I would have to go to their repair center. Then another Verizon Tech took my new phone, did whatever and BAM!!!!  All my contacts and apps installed. As far as pictures they can't be retrieved

Sorry to hear that Joe. This is the main reason why my cell phone always has a micro SD card in it. And I set up the phone to save the pictures and videos to the SD card.

Loosing your data suck but it should not happen even without the SD card. You can back up your info on the PC or if you have an Iphone just use Icloud and you never loose anything.

I don't know from experience but my wife recently told me my phone and computer problems were from porn site visits.

Think they are watching what we do ?
