Inexpensive spinning rod for chunks and clams for stripers?

My 4 year old son wants to hit the beach to fish so going to pick a rod.  Never was into throwing bait from the beach so gave my nephew my surf rod awhile back. Looking to buy an inexpensive rod for throwing chunks and clams from the beach.  Will not get much use so not looking for a Lamiglas, Loomis etc.. but don't want junk either.  .  Probably looking for a 10' rod or so.  Budget around $100 for just the rod, have a reel for it.

I have an old one that I haven't used in a long time.  It's yours if you want it.  I need to clean out some stuff anyway.  You'll probably need new line.
