More Photo Practice

Birds are tough to shoot at a distance without 600-800mm, at least.  See if you can get a 2x teleconverter for that lens.  You'll lose some clarity with the extra glass, so get the best tc you can.  Make sure there is a fit with a tamron lens for your make camera.  My canon 300mm lens will only accept a 1.4 tc in canon lenses.

Editing programs will allow you to crop out the unwanted, distracting parts of the photo so ones attention is focused on the subject at first glance, zooming in the subject, and so much more.

It takes a while to pick up on this stuff.  Still is a lot more I could learn and do, but reached the limit of what I'm happy with doing.  You're doing it right, getting familiar with one step at a time.
