Looking to add some lights to the new  defender and theres 8million light companies. I dont want to pay 500 for something thats going to be pushing through brush. Anyone use superbrightleds.com bars or Sirius bars? Any other recommendations?  Looking for a 50" and a 6"

Good luck . Been trying to make that decision for my rhino for quite a while .

i think high intensity smaller flood lights will be best , as they have less surface area to get hit going through the woods.

i was going to put them on the roof , but think mounting them upside down  from the roof will allow better protection also .

walmart has a brand of light bars that seem pretty bright, and are priced well .

since I won’t be using them daily , I think most will work well for the actual time they get used

Hard to judge them .

there is absolutely no real indicator for actual lumens . Both up close and  far away .

have seen 150 lumens lights that where brighter than ones claiming to be 750.

. I like high intensity floods that carry off to the side , but seems many of those have crappy down range brightness .

tough median for sure

I got this one for my Tundra was about $200 and installed myself behind the grill. It's a 40" bar with spot led in the middle with flood LEDs on both sides. Sdhq was manufacturer and gives great down range light with good light to the sides20160702_132122.jpeg

I use superbrightleds.com

But I use them for cap light bars and home projects.

For light bars I would f150leds
