2019 Trout Season Opener

It's almost here!  A little over a week and it'll be a madhouse on the rivers!  haha

Who's heading out for the opener?  Where you planning on fishing?

Unfortunately this will be one of the first Opening Days at the Flatbrook I will have to miss in as long as I can remember....

Maybe get the countdown banner up Matt? 

Good luck to all going out! Looks like it will be Rainbows again for stockers, as nothing has changed with the state hatchery with regard to the disease in the last few years I believe. Maybe BucksnBows would know more to elaborate on this......

I skip opening day. To many Yahoos. I usually start going the week after or the following weekend. Plenty of trout year round

Heading over to PA tomorrow for the south east PA opener.

Will fish the NJ opener next week and then the general PA opener on April 13th

Matt, my TU chapter is doing our annual Shenanigans next week on the Musky. You are more than welcome to join us. Plus, you have already caught all the trees on this stretch with your errant back casts. [emoji15]

Manasquan river off squankum rd is tradition for us.....unless rains turn it to chocolate milk....then the metedoconk is plan B
