Those drags are friggin back breakers. I have the 8x8 from tractor supply. My back starts hurting just looking at it.

Did you plant any cover  crop with the clover? If not, you may want to get some oats down too. Turning dirt in the spring and slow growing clover you will be fighting the weeds and need something to suppress the seed bank you disturbed. 

Ive always had better results in the fall with rye then frost seeding Feb or March afterwards. Also early heat can scorch tender clover before it can set its roots.  Keep us updated

I didnt really turn the dirt- just scratched through the grass and leaves to reseed over existing clover plot.
This is year #3 for the plot to the existing clovers should come up strong anyway..they did great last year.

I have cover crops to do this aug.. all the seed is here ready to go. Will be trying a few different seed blends to see what does well..

No we don't want them to come.  We want the local deer herd to STAY EXACTLY WHERE THEY ARE.    Can't be having these city folk moving all up in here trying to steal away all the deer.
