Was a guest at Wellfleet this year. First time visit with friends. Was in cabin when the surfer was killed by the shark. Heard the Emergency Response. Stayed away from that beach. During the week so many locals talked about the seals and their protection. I'm sure as beach season gets closer the conversations are heating up.

Great area. I stay the next town North in Truro. We launch out of Pamet Harbor and fish out front

I saw , but I just like the views of being on the water .

def ready for spring to start .

was  really surprised when they said they had bass there as early as April .

would have expected mid May into June to be their start .

as everything they get pushes through here from both our fisheries

Last year was the first time I tried the canal aka "the ditch" for stripers......it was insane!!!  Giant silver sides, mackerel bustin, seals wallowing, sharks cruising....all as u r fishing elbow to elbow like opening day of Jersey trout...but those Mass guys r some of the nicest, helpful,  and informative fishermen I ever met.....tho I did hear of 1 fight n did see an argument when lines crossed.  Lol. I will try it again....but I tend to like the hundreds of kettle ponds for 2-6 lb bass!!!
