I’m working on an anti trial cam theft bracket to put on the tree. I don’t use locks and cable cause I’ve had it cut off before. And the lock boxes are expensive.

Go to home depot 13 dollar conduit boxes cut to fit cam.. I will be using a trailer hitch lock so there is no easy way to cut with bolt cutter..  remember it will only stop oppurtunity theft with the right tools it could be had..

Used the smaller diameter break line(1/4 I think) and 1/4" vacuum hose to make the frame.  The hose fits snug in my tp stealth riser holes.  I cut the legs off of pants that didn't fit any longer and split them down the pant leg.  Pant legs can be cut to any length you like, keeping the bottom cuff in tack.  Slide break line through both cuffs and stitch the 2 pieces together in the center, then cut a hole for the scope and arrow.  Then slip rubber tube over ends.  I stitched other jagged pieces onto the front to make pockets on the bottom, and loops on top, to hold natural pieces of camo later.

Deer season. I just stick the natural camo in the riser holes, but I use the shield to hide my face better from turkey.

Found it better to split the pants at the seam, because the cuff is closed off at the seam and the seam has to be cut out.

Might be of help setting up windage on a rest.

Small zip tie - skinny bolt, nut, rubber compression washer - bare shaft(straight).  Rubber band optional.

Line up the back of the shaft against the string and drill a hole through the shaft for the bolt where the berger button hole is.  If this is blocked, a rubber band can be used instead of bolt (as pictured).

Color the ribs on the zip tie with marker.  Doing every 5th rib a different color will make it easier to read.  Or, a gauge can be used if you have it.

Drill a small hole through the shaft about an inch from the back, and another an inch from the front that the zip tie will fit through, keeping all the holes in line with hole for bolt.  Not needed with a gauge.

First hole was drilled too far back and hit the taper on an aluminum shaft with a uni bushing.  I had to drill another farther from the end .

Put the bolt through the shaft and berger hole, rubber washer and tighten nut, aligning the jig with a nocked arrow.

Measure the distance between shafts by slipping tie through the holes in the jig until it just touches the arrow shaft.  Start with the nock end.  Adjust rest until both ends are equal.
