Dry aged steaks.

Occasionally I stop by Whole Foods to see if they have dry aged steaks available.

 

Yesterday they had some. If you ever get a craving for a good steak I highly recommend them. During the winter I like to pan sear my steaks then finish them off in the oven on broil.

Funny you mentioned this. I was at Whole Foods and Wegman's yesterday browsing around. I was also at a very expensive Steakhouse this past weekend where a 45 Day Aged Steak was as high as $60. 

Honestly, I enjoy a good Venison Loin more!

I pan sear and eat.  No need to finish them off in the broiler.

In February, I was at a conference at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Tx. The first night we went the the Old Hickory Steakhouse and I ordered a dry aged ribeye. It was AWESOME! It was $140! for just the steak but it was AWESOME! I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it!
