Jumboland

Took Jr to get a bite tonight to Jumboland since all of the girls were out....Have to say, the Cajun Ribeye was fantastic. It came with salad bar, soup, asparagus, onion rings & dessert for $14.95.  The owner Tommy is a great guy and it looks like he will do very well due to the nearby Chatterbox closing. (It was packed on Saturday nights because of the classic car cruise night)

If anyone is interested, the Jumboland Classic Car Nights will be every Saturday this summer starting at 3pm, Bike Nights will be every Thursday starting at 6pm, and Corvette Nights will be held on the 2nd Friday of each month.....Lots of room for parking, especially behind the diner....

We better see your split window '63 up there Tarhunt!

Yea, thank God for crutches and for places that are less than 5-10 minutes away from my house, lol!

This is also why all of the pics in Walpack were taken from one spot....while seated inside my car!

Was glad to have met you at Jay's Bob. Many of us said the same thing---all behind your back!

Good place. They used to check deer in there back in the day

Every opening day night at around 5pm I used to love going there to see the bucks that would be checked in.....The line of cars and trucks would be stopped past Culver's Lake on 206 North waiting to check in the bucks.....

When I was younger, they all looked big. But some of the truly giant bucks all came out of one place year after year...............Walpack and along the river on Federal Land......At least that what guys reported and said to the state workers who were checking in the bucks....

Definitely one of my 'go-to' spots for chow in the area! 'Course I also order from Candy's Pizza a lot, and for variety it's the Chinese Buffet we 'affectionately' refer to as the 'Missing Kitten Buffet' on Rt. 6 outside of Milford.
