I Hate Thieves....

My Wife is on a train in Chicago heading to the airport and she had her purse stolen. The F'ers charged $400.00 at target already as we are trying to call the credit and bank card companies. She has no ID, money, or anything to get herself home and is upset.

Our police are overwhelmed already and I don't think open boarders are the answer.

As long as she is safe and unharmed....in this day and age, get her home brother!

I want to choke somebody. I hate feeling so helpless. I called one credit card company to shut down the card and they were like "ok no problem you are not responsible for any future charges" and I said " What are you doing to catch these people?" Their reply was "Don't worry you are not responsible for any future charges."

I am not a rocket scientist but, don't you think if we were pro-active and went after these thieves like pit pulls that were starved for a couple of weeks this kind of crap would not be taken so lightly?

Your wife will be very distraught, be positive.

I already screwed the pooch on that one.  I asked her why she wasn't being more careful. :(

I grew up in a tough Philly neighborhood and I know how to handle myself. Now was not the perfect time to ask her that question. Just feeling a little helpless.

Natural male reaction when they feel helpless.  I know I woulda said the same thing.  She'll forgive ya.  She may have been doing her best to be safe, but there's people out there that make a living out of preying on others and unfortunately they're good at it.  They are lower than whale shit.  It'll all work out and be in the past.  Some lessons are hard learned, but she's safe and that's all that matters.
