Thought this was cool. Worth the time to watch...

Recommended Posts

We often see pictures and video of people rescuing deer from frozen lakes, ponds, and streams during the winter months, but it's not often we get to know the heroes behind the effort. In this episode of Coffee and Deer, meet Jason Stewart, a youth football coach from Marion Center, Pennsylvania who recently saved a doe that was stranded on his frozen pond. He was able to rescue the deer just before an unseasonably warm day melted the ice, which would have certainly sealed the exhausted animal's fate.

This was sent to me by NDA, or National Deer Alliance......Lots of great info each time I receive the emails if anyone is interested....

National Deer Alliance is something all deer hunters should be a member of. It’s free
