Weird,

 Young goat died on the farm last Friday, so I decided to put a camera on it to see what happens. We are loaded with coyotes, foxes and of course vultures and I expected tons of pictures and goat devoured in 24 hrs.
Coyote found it in 8 hrs, first night, and to this evening this is the only animal on my camera. Nothing even touched it, not even vultures.

What gives? Gut piles disappear overnight but nothing will eat goat??

Maybe being cautious because they fear what killed it may kill them, or they are aware of the camera..

Well I did think about the camera but they hit the gut pile with camera on it almost instantly. Vultures in this area find it in an hour.

Could be that it's just a strange animal for them to see dead, and feed on.  Skin it and see what happens.

Yeah Greybeard has a good point I doubt many goats drop dead in the woods for them to feed on. Might be a little off putting for them at first.
