Bad move in the sense of the lack of value the Giants got.....They should of settled for two 1s..this year and next year, Peppers isn't a great safety he's ok.....

with it being done, if I was the Giants Eli is staying, draft a edge rusher, and Right tackle.....2020 draft a QB, that draft class has better QBs...Jake Fromm

Good riddance bitch.  Overrated Diva that drops balls and has never played a full season.  In fact, he started his NFL career injured missing the first 4-5 games.  Surprised he didn't get injured in the commercial with Eli.  What really turned me off for good with him was the dog peeing debacle in the end zone.  He'll feel right at home in the Dawg Pound.

As far as Jabrill Peppers is concerned the Giants had already passed on him in the draft.  It would be cool to watch him play since he went to the same high school my daughters did.

I'm hoping it really happens.

I am one happy Giants fan - tremendous talent that can't stay on the field and is a complete headcase and distraction = VERY BAD TEAM CHEMISTRY.  We won nothing with him, the team needed a full enema.   He was just a slightly less talented and less durable version of Antonio Brown.   GOOD RIDDANCE.    We got a 1 and a 3 for him plus Jabril Peppers a stud defensive player.    only downside is we take a cap hit  next two years for some damn reason I don't understand how that crap works.

definitely not next year but if they draft a stud QB this year then they are positioned well. It now all depends on Eli's replacement.   He is done but doesn't matter who they put in there this season they will suck but I would rather suck one more year for draft pics and groom a good QB than just suffer in mediocrity.    Good move I say!

giants considered him a huge weakness and that position requires at least covering a tight end beyond a line of scrimmage and the good safeties can cover WR's when called upon.  He could do neither, therefor was not worth what the redskins gave him or what the Giants were considering under the franchise tag.  I know he is a great tackler and best in business as a run stopper, but he had ZERO (yes zero) sacks last year.  He also had zero interceptions.      That is not worth paying a "top NFL safety" salary. Sorry. Hopefully Peppers will be an upgrade and can do all the position demands.
