Cod Fishing anyone?

I am looking to charter a 6 pack boat out of center moriches LI. I went out wednesday and ended the day with 10 cod (for 2 people) between 8-12lbs.

They do open boat too but thought locking it up would be better. The cost would be $200 a person plus $30 tip. Boat will sail at 5 and come back at 5. The steam to the grounds is about 2 1/2-3 hours depending on sea conditions. The boat cruises at 18.

 

Let me know looking to book it for March 9th or 16th

Actually yes they are catching a few pollock and we can make a long drop and catch as many as we want.

I have found worms in sea bass and stripers before.

Believe it or not I have found the same worms in fluke and sea bass lmao. But I know what you mean.

I just pop them out and they are great.

Yuck. I have never seen worms in any fish but maybe I have not caught as much as you guys. LOL

Yeah I have heard about the worms and they say there is no problem when you cook them but I still can get over eating worms in fish flesh .

I have caught smaller cod while fishing deep water for fluke and they had no worms and were great eating. They were about 6-8 pounds

Where there are no seals there are no worms... seals are the ones who cause these worms.

LOL...tough hunters & fishermen here. Just cut the worms out or cook them, you'll be fine. PM SENT.

 Most Halibut from Alaska have plenty in them but I never through any out.   Never look a gift horse in the face so to speak.
