Interesting Article - Moose vs Ticks

I didn't see many ticks on the moose I bagged but my friend who lived up there showed me a picture on his phone, it was a Moose that was completely incapacitated (still alive) and literally blanketed with ticks. I've never seen anything like it.

Interesting article. I'm already spraying down my scouting clothes with Permethrin. All the wet weather and lack of snow as well as lack of sustained cold might mean a boom in the tick population here. Maybe Fish & Wildlife should start a Guinea hen release. LOL.
