Valentine’s Day present

Was supposed to be here on VDAY but ended up taking an extra day .

60” Bear Super Kodiak  55# / 28” (supposed to be +- 2# , feels around 60# at my draw length )

need to get a rug rest on it .

will be shooting GT 55/75 Heritage shafts 100 grain brass inserts with 145 grr Bear razorheads.

fletched with feathers from turkeys I have taken .

looking forward to September already .

I had a lot of super kodiaks, theyve all been good shooters, these were my favorite.  Good luck with it.  I use to use brownell rhino material Flemish strings on this bow and it really made it into a real shooter.

Where you making your own strings or buying them ?

seems to be places had them a few years ago , but not seeing them currently doing a quick search

I buy flemish strings from alan schafer at ten ring strings.  He makes a string right!

love my Dale Dye , but wanted a shorter bow .

the Dye is 64” like my longbow .

My first bow was a Kodiak Hunter. I had it in a case for about 30 years and decided to sell it. Went quick.
