Nice. Where did you buy from? Local or online? New or used? I’m a Martin Hunter fan myself but the SK is really sweet.

Been watching for a decent buy on eBay for few months .

wanted another Dale Dye trails end , but Dale has retired from making bows .

Yep Dale is done. His bows are really nice. They don’t seem to pop up too much on the used market. Due to a bow shoulder injury I’m going to start looking for a nice 40 to 45 pound long bow.

Seems when they come up it’s usually a few .

seems quite a few guys have a bunch of them ..

love the one I have, but it’s 64” would liked to get a 60”

Just saw this. I love the bow it’s beautiful 55 pounds. Shooting Gold Tip traditional arrows. 400’s  with 100 grain inserts and 125 grain tips at 29 inches.

What moved me to get it was I was thinking about going out to Colorado again , and thought it would be nice to have something I could break down and put it in the small case instead of my usual 6 foot long tubes that I carry the long bows in. With all the different manufacturers out there you could go crazy trying to pick one so I just stuck with Bear I have always liked them.

Hammer good luck with your bow! If you go to stickbow.com there are a few Kodiak’s in the classifieds and real nice ones for pretty cheap.

I just shaved a few pounds off one of my hickory long bows and backed it with deer skin , shooting very nice now, probably about 55 pounds or so.

I’ll post some pictures when I get home.
