Finally getting around to posting my muzzy doe I shot in Delaware this past November. I bought my muzzleloader last year and finally harvested this doe with it. Not my first deer but my first harvest with a muzzy and I'm hooked now.

Aim Small Miss Small..........No such thing as a bad day spent hunting.

Yes it's a T/C Triumph with a Bushnell Trophy scope. I shoot 295 grain powerbelt hollow points over 110 grains of loose powder Black MZ. Wanted to get the 209 Blackhorn powder but the gun shop I go to didn't have any so I picked up the Black MZ. I saw bad reviews for this powder but it's been good for me so far.

Ah very nice.  I have the T/C Triumph as well, topped with a Nikon 3-9x40 Omega.   Beautiful setup, love it!  It's what I shot my doe with tonight :)

This is my setup:

Muzzleloader: .50 caliber T/C Triumph

Scope: Nikon Omega BDC 3-9x40

Bullet: .45 caliber 250 grain Hornady SST

Sleeve: Harvest Crushed Rib Black (long)

Powder: 110 grains Blackhorn 209

Caps: Federal 209A shotgun primers

I actually just bumped the thread on ML setups if you or anyone else wants to add to it! :)

congrats on the first muzzy deer!

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
