Christie is anti-gun, and he's been very open about that.  I hope he doesn't run for president, and I won't vote for him in the primary because of his anti-2A stance.

Could not agree more with you... and would add that he is a bully that hides behind the protection of the State Police and calls people names and ridicules them publically because he can get away with it because he is protected..

 

Anyone read about his new stance on Illegal immigrants now being granted "in state" tuition costs at our tax paid for schools.  Nothing more than hedging his future votes to the illegal minority/majority crowd.. "Look what I did for you, vote for me":vomit:    :vomit:

I see your Lord has kept his mouth shut about him ordering the closing the GWB for a few days, he even went as far as calling the Cumo (no fan) to back him up and Cumo refused and ordered the bridge back open, even one CC appointees resigned over this, emails have been leaked out showing CC is at fault and gave the order, Congress is now invovled......KARMA!!!!

 

The only thing CC did positive was allow the bear hunt to continue, but that doesn't help the wallets and the people of NJ.

I'm not a "state" worker nor is my wife, my brother or anyone else in my family. Nor do we have any involvement in politics other than voting on Election Day. As a matter of fact my household is split on either side of the fence and no one likes his BS. The guy is arrogant. Funny how they stage those "town hall" meetings with cool aid drinkers and if someone with an independent mind happens to get in and voice their opinions, the governor will ridicule them or the State Police will remove them.. Not the officers fault, they just follow orders...You know like when you have to make a "little league " game and just happen to hitch a ride on a  State Police  helicopter and State Police Superintendent Rick Fuentes has to make up an excuse for Christie... What else is going to do....Chain of command.

You guys understand that by not defending gun control laws, that makes him more pro-gun than anti-gun, don't you?  All this says is that Christie has his sights set on the White House as we all have suspected for quite some time.  To capture the Republican ticket in the primary, he needs to cater to the right and that includes to gun owners.  By not defending a gun control law here in NJ, he is starting to make that move to make himself look pro-gun.  

 

I think some of you misread the article or posted whatever you wanted because you don't like him, but this time he was not pushing any anti-gun agenda, it was just the opposite.  I personally don't think Christie is a strong 2nd Amendment Governor, but he is also not a strong anti like Obama clearly is.  And I highly doubt he will gain the Republican vote in the primary leading to the 2016 Presidential election.  But he will be a player in that election and will help drive the Republican platform, whatever that will look like in 2 years from now.  I just don't see another moderate East coast Governor gaining enough votes to win the primary.
