I will be out bowhunting tomorrow, wish I had gotten out last week , weather will moving in Thurs and Fri making the sit brutal with low temps and high winds.

Where did this wind come from? Must have just dropped ten degrees in the last half hour and starting to flurry. Hopefully it will make the bucks move early

Where did this wind come from? Must have just dropped ten degrees in the last half hour and starting to flurry. 

 

Tell me about it.  I was filming my son on his last hunt of the year before he goes back to school.  We had a large herd coming in when the wind swirled and blew our scent right to them.  It had been perfect all afternoon and the last half an hour it was swirling all over and spooked everything away.

Had my buddies son out in the blind with me  tonight with the bow for his first from PA,missed a doe at 4pm had 4 does and a 6pt comming in last light and the wind hurt us also.Will have him back saturday afternoon with a gun in his hand

I was out for a couple hours after work last night.  Had a nice snow shower but didn't see anything.  Happy new year everybody!
