Was out and had deer all around me. Was like a hostage situation had to wait um out just to get out of the tree.

Same thing with me. I was on the ground with a tree to my back and a herd of deer in front of me. 3 big does kept looking my way, almost charging at me but the wind was perfect, I would not blink an eye so the game went on for 2.5 hrs.

On Spruce Run Creek near its headwaters on a Christian camp, Crossroads Retreat Center.  The only dam between the headwaters and the reservoir below it (Spruce Run Reservoir).  Native brookies up high, a mix in the middle, and wild browns down nearer the reservoir.

I sat and had 9 does and a one horn buck at 15 yards. The bigger buck was a no show. Wind seemed to calm down at 4pm, which was nice.
