Scoring my buck

Hi all, 

I am expecting to get my buck back from Sahanas Taxidermy soon and was wondering if there is anyone here in Morris/Passaic county region who could give me a hand in scoring my deer.  I know that it requires 60 days for P&Y, and I have satisfied that time period.

It's easy . Just pull the form from PY site and follow  directions .

As Dan said - if you follow the instructions exactly as listed, you will be within an inch of a certified P&Y scorer.   Use a cable for measuring the beams as instructed, it makes a difference.

 

Unless you have a whacky non-typical, this is extremely easy.

If you want to have it listed in the P&Y book,you have to have an official  P&Y scorer score it.

Do want it scored officially or just for your own knowledge?  I’m in the area and could always score it for you but if you want it officially scored, you’ll have to go to an official P&Y scorer.  There are a list of official scorers by state on the P&Y website

Sugar is our resident NJW&W official scorer, but he is in Monmouth County.

Great buck Mike, congratulations.  Like others have said, it' not hard to score a deer yourself.  I'd be happy to give you a hand scoring it if you want.  I was trained to score deer back when I worked on the deer project with F&W but I'm not an official scorer.
