then cut it .

IMO if you cut it first the meat stays a little bloodier .

i like as much blood to be gone as possible from each cut .

I think every hunter should know how to process their own meat. I don’t know about the rest of you but putting meat I packaged myself in the freezer gives me just as much a sense of accomplishment as getting my hands on that deer in the woods.
