Wish I could of got out this afternoon, having transmission issues with my truck , hope to have it back tomorrow , but I was able to borrow a car for this morning to join Cherry Ridge Range.

Good luck Tom . I planned on sit this evening but I had to get my fathers old Thunderbird running and transported . Needless to say it hadn’t run in 15-20 years and it fought me tooth and nail all day . Got that old 390 running on 7 of those 8 cylinders lol . Typical. I just got back so no sit tonight . . 

 

Now its its time to get some bear breakfast sausages made up for dinner .

thought about going, didn't like the wind, and the continual rains have really altered a lot of deer patterns and frankly I don't have time to adjust nor do I care at this point - it's toooo long a season and I am about ready to hang it up.

Just finished the season in Virginia yesterday and drove the 325 miles back to NJ today. Trying to get my office work organized and meet with my accountant to pay my payroll taxes for the 4th quarter and also my sales tax. God forbid that I forget to pay them.

did some scouting today and went to move a stand only to discover I didn't have the key for the lock.

My son wanted to go so went and bought his bow license . Told him to pick his stand according to wind and I will be in the truck if you need help dragging . He ended up seeing 17 deer and passed on a young 8 and lots of does .  So nice sit and kudos to him for passing that up and comer .
