Remington 1858 new model

I have a Rem. 1858 New Model in poor condition.  Parts missing and definitely no longer operable.  May i sell this to someone for parts or collectible without going through an FFL???

I'm 90 percent the answer is no..  it must go through ffl..  because even antiques are subject to nj laws

I may be wrong but I believe in NJ even a water pistol must now go through an FFL.
