Reproduction skull mounts

For anyone having those pesky skullcaps laying around, you can always have them installed on an artificial skull. There are some lifelike artificial skulls on the market today. Add them to a panel if desired.

 

I charge $150 for this with no panel, or $190 with a panel. I use only high end reproduction skulls.

Good way to bring old set of antlers or sheds

These you are able to keep your spread the same, and blend the pedicle seemlessly.

I never tried mountain Mike's skulls- they always looked too fake for my liking- toy like and lacking detail..

I charge $150 because it takes longer than 10 mins to do professionally. I make sure the spread and angle of the antlers are the same exact as they were on your deer and I snap, fill, blend, paint the pedicle for a seamless transition.

No offense but that's not professionally done.. the pedicle is wider than the antler burr and there is a gap..
To do it professionally you would need to add more expense and time to alter the skull to fit the antlers- not altering the antlers to fit the skull.

Not to mention I do this stuff for a living I need to make a decent hourly wage so I can to contribute my 25% taxes so trump can build me a wall. I gotta make a living.


The artificial skulls I buy are 3x the cost of mountain Mike's skulls plus shipping..and the only ones that look real enough for me to consider using on customer antlers.

This is what I'm talking about on your skulls. Again- no offense.. if you're happy with the way it came out that's fine.. bit as a taxidermist I couldnt let that out my shop door and charge someone. That's more of a DIY skull

The one you pointed out is the extra one that came with the kit and threw those on it. Those are sheds and I never shaved the base down before putting them on there. The other one was the one I wanted to be the better of the two
