Flu has me down but not out

I tell you it's been hard with this damn flu. I am not setting many traps and only setting one easy set.  I only had a 20 yd walk this morning and puked 2 times and was trying not to cough so it didn't come out the other end. Oooo the joys of trapping. 2 down

HA! You know when I took the trapper's ed course a few months ago, the instructors drilled it into us: "You HAVE to check your traps every 24 hours. NO excuses. Doesn't matter if it's snowing.  Doesn't matter if the wife tells you that you have to go to a funeral. Doesn't matter if your truck ran out of gas. You MUST check your traps."

They should add your situation to their class instruction:

"Doesn't matter if you have to puke. Doesn't matter if you got it coming out of both ends. You MUST check your traps"

This has been the worst flu season in a long time, I as down almost 2 weeks and had to get antibiotics because of infection in the ears from the flue. YUK hope you feel better soon.

That's where I am at now. Hoping when I go back tomorrow I don't see any new sign and I can pull those couple till I get better

 Sorry to hear it. With flu shots at every supermarket and drug stores , why no shot? unless it didn't work. My wife and I get one every year .
