Great Last day to end 2018 with Chukar's

I went to Clinton Saturday. Right at one of the gates to the fields on Van Sycles road there were 4chuker two on the ground and two in a tree. There  were two foriegners waiting for official sun rise to shoot them on the ground and out of the tree. At sunrise I flushed them. I had to poke them with a stick to get them to fly. I couldn't reach one of the tree roosted ones. When they flushed they flew back across the rode. No one had a shot. I guess the foriegners shot the remaining bird out of the tree. The foriegners weren't happy.

This year was the first I bird hunted on public land in a long time..It hasn't changed much regarding the yo-yos who shoot birds on the ground. They have no sense of the sportsmanship of upland bird hunting.
