Bald Eagles

Eagles must be making a come back. Last year I saw 2, yesterday I saw 6 feeding on a deer carcass across from my farm in 17.  Awesome to see

The past few years they exploded on the Delaware.

Just today, on my way to the gym, I watched an adult eagle beat the shit out of a juvenile eagle that was feeding on a dead deer.  The juvenile took a good beating then left then the adult fed on the deer.  It was amazing to watch.

They are all over the Delaware river and a beautiful sight to see.

I live in Gloucester County. Pretty common sight on all the creeks  and tributaries off the Delaware River. Awesome  bird

Not only have breeding pairs increased greatly, but NJ holds the largest winter population in the lower 48. So we are at peak population during winter months. I saw one the other day at Lake Mohawk in Sparta.
