S O B ! Had what looked to be a big bodied deer in front of me @ 6:20 . Leaves just before I would be able to see if it had horns. #WTH ? Lol

lol...  .. Right after i posted that i fell back asleep.. didnt wake up till 9...Headed out to my spot and saw a deer standing in front of my blind.. didnt want to spook it so i left... Back out at 3...

Had the wife's car this morning til my truck was ready. Went n picked it up now back in the blind . On the way in saw 3fawns in front of my blind hit one in the arse wit a snowball to get them out ! Lol! Today had got to be one of the best days in the woods in a long while for me. Useualy I maybe see couple here couple there . Today must've seen 20 different deer in front of me , mostly baldies n real tiny spike 1/2" if he lucky. Got probly 2 hrs left in the season for me . If I don't see a buck today it will still be one of the best 6day in a long time .

Well my doe turned out to be a unicorn spike buck, his left side was a nub or base and the right was pencil thin and barely under the 3" rule to be considered antlerless. . I am a little disappointed in myself for not seeing the horn though and if I had saw it I would not have shot him as I was doe hunting. He came into my bait around 6:30 and I shot him about 6:47. It was poor lighting and I rushed the shot as he was walking away from the bait. The arrow hit where I was aiming and he fell within 60 yards. As a friend suggested I should of glassed him first but there was no time as he was walking away, and had no reason to think it was a male deer as he fed on the bait.

Missed my morning and afternoon hunt but did get out into the blind about 3ish.. Had a button buck come in about 4:30 and that was it... Was greeted on my way out of the woods by 2 conservation officers.. Nice dudes.. checked my credentials, BSed for a few then left...
