Double limit today

He’s had over a week off due to deer season, but that only made him hunt with vengeance today.

we hit glassboro a little late but 20 minutes later and two points I had my limit on pheasant. I got a few looks as the gang that went through before we got there must have not had any yet.

took the drive to Peaslee and got two quail right away, hunted hard for a bit and missed 2 and got another one shortly after. After a water break we tried by the truck  and got our fourth 15 minutes later.

were both tired now but very satisfied.

There battle scars alright, autoimmune disease almost died over the summer his body was attacking itself but we got it figured out now and just a pill a day should keep him good.   His hair is really thin and no hair on his scars

My Springer went through the same thing last year. A multitude of test and medicines , but he seems ok now. Hope your pup continues to heal .
