First Ice!

Drove 3 1/2 for a couple days,  caught tons nothing huge.  Was so awesome to drill the first hole of the season! Hope we get cold soon!

Headed up to Vermont.  Small lake that I’d never fished before, had 6 inches of black ice!

That’s awesome. You love the hard water. Last year was a tease. I was fishing New Year’s Eve and a little in January and poof it was gone.

Congrats on the catch!

Some people are saying a vortex is coming in a couple weeks that will bring us the coldest temps ever.  It's been -18 here, with ice still on the lakes for opening day of trout season.  Not looking forward to it being any worse than that.

Where are you that it's minus 18????      Isn't the trout opener in April?
