BHC Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) Sunday morning I put the burritos, bread, and 3 gallons of maple syrup out, they came in that night, my friend found numerous piles of bear crap of various size late morning on opening day and he could smell maple syrup. So the next day he went to same area, he whacked a 131# dress weight bear just after 11am, two more came in he tried to get them to run in my direction I was southeast of his location, the bears went directly east my friend was 1/2 mile from me. I'm happy for him, he earned it, as his hunting is limited due to work and other obligations and his legs aren't the best !!! I pulled my SD card yesterday, and it confirmed the three on my bait, and a few other bears Edited December 11, 2013 by BHC BowhunterNJ, Bucksnbows and Haskell_Hunter 3

Bucksnbows Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Congrats to your buddy! Beautiful animals! So true, yet antis think we hold some form of hatred towards the animals we hunt. Nothing could be further from the truth! I love seeing game animals all year long as well as most non-game animals. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
