Dan, thanks.  Yes, we are working directly with her.  She has been out to my forest and seen our modified seed tree (largely a clearcut) projects on at least two of our four sites and she agreed they would be good places to plant the 15/16ths version she can obtain for us.

Not yet, the American Chestnut is a fast grower but it puts it's energy in outracing the competition to the forest canopy, that's one of the reasons it dominated the forests .

Those hybrid nuts I gave you should now be producing nuts now.
