Thanksgiving Day Morning Hunt

Thanksgiving Day morning duck hunt is a long-standing tradition. This year, it meant having kids back from their first few months at college as well as meeting old friends that, for whatever reason, prolly just life getting in the way, only seem to be able to get together for these few hours. We missed the first flights of mallards that landed in the decoys because we were to busy catching up on old as well as new times. We laughed so hard at that, they flew off unscathed. We shot at and missed many more. In the end, it was more than the kill. It always is. Happy Thanksgiving.
