Bears Still Coming In

Checked my cams early this morning. Few does no bucks. 4 bears, 1 at 8:30pm and 3 at 7:30am just in a few days

Sweet!  I just hope the bears don't pull a disappearing act like they seemed to last year.  I have a new plan for this season:  I am not going to start to bait heavy until this coming weekend, as opposed to last year when I baited full-on for a month for nothing.  I figure if I can get one coming to my bait by mid-next week, I can keep them interested for a few more days till the season starts.

I agree with your baiting schedule I'm starting heavy baiting on either Monday or Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

all indications are the cold weather is going to continue.. The bears will be denning up over the next 2 weeks.. By the time bear season rolls around they will all be fast asleep... Give it up and pray for a earlier season in the future....

I believe that's mostly BS.  But an earlier season would be nice.

I'm baiting now with corn and corn block. Will continue with the loose corn as well with maple syrup and bread products that way it will draw in deer as well
